Upgrades to the latest version of ScanControl are available via download and on CD as new versions are released. Three upgrade policies (described below) are in place. 04/09/09 - ScanControl Version 7.1.x Release Upgrade Program:
1. Point Upgrades are Included in Your Original Purchase Price**:Point upgrades within the latest version series, e.g. Version 7.0.0 to 7.1.0, are included with the original purchase of, or upgrade to, the Basic, Racing, Full and PRO Editions of the latest version. If you have not received an automatic upgrade email by the date noted above please send an e-mail to upgrades@scannersoft.com requesting the upgrade. Via return e-mail we will provide a link back to the user to the no charge upgrade download page. There is a $10.00 Shipping & Handling fee for no charge upgrades requested on CD. 2. Version Upgrades Require an Upgrade Order**:Version series upgrades, e.g. Version 6.2.x to 7.1.x, will contain significant new functionality and therefore are subject to an upgrade fee of $9.99 for download, $19.99 on CD (Incl. $10.00 Shipping & Handling). Visit our Which Upgrade page to decide which upgrade model to order. Click over to our On-Line Store and select Software Upgrades, ScanControl Basic Edition Upgrade, ScanControl Racing Edition Upgrade, ScanControl Full Edition Upgrade or ScanControl PRO Edition Upgrade. After your order is placed you may receive an e-mail requesting Proof of Original Purchase. Via return e-mail we will provide download instructions or CD shipment information for your upgrade. Version Upgrade Protection: 3D Technologies employs a 60 day "Grandfather" period for users who purchase ScanControl within 60 days of a new version series release. If your original license purchase of the previous version series falls within 60 days of the release of the latest version series you are entitled to the upgrade at no charge. If you have not received an automatic upgrade email by the date noted above please send us an e-mail at upgrades@scannersoft.com requesting the upgrade. 3. Functionality Upgrades Require an Upgrade Order:Upgrades from a ScanControl Edition of lesser functionality to a ScanControl Edition of greater functionality are available via download and on CD. Visit our Which Upgrade page to decide which upgrade model to order. Click over to our On-Line Store and select Software Upgrades. Via return e-mail we will provide download instructions or CD shipment information for your upgrade. **NOTE: When a new version series is released, e.g. going from Version 6.x.x to Version 7.x.x, upgrades within the earlier version series are discontinued.
